What i mean is which is more important to producers, appearance or sound; I think they find appearance more important.

In my opinion the sound is far more important, not that they're mutually exclusive. There's nothing wrong with having a fashion sense or hamming it up on stage in my view, so long as the music itself is worthwhile.

Music is more of sound, as well as being able to produce harmonic melodies out of it.
You said appearance because of the culture that MTV and other music video networks have instilled and impressed upon the younger generations, when clearly, those people before they even actually become famous, they have to have music that is very pleasant and good.

I think that it is more about the music, but that depends on the band. For a group like KISS, we remember them by how they looked, dressed, the way the stage was set up and how they acted, but not as much for their songs. Compare that to Bach. Off the top of my head, I can't tell you what he looked like, but I could play one of his songs on the piano. If music was about appearance, then what would be the point of the instruments, the vocals, lyrics, and songs?

in our days more about appearance but you can find good music
which is not depending only on appearance
