When we answer in thousands of numbers on a question asked by Sushmita Sen, we all agree being considered her as the celebrity. What for? She has not done any magic after entering in the bollywood. She did not deserve to be an actress. We have millions of beautiful girls in India, who are looking better than her and even higher in IQ. Why only her?

this is what we call celebrity status, people want to in touch with celebs, u are right there are million of good looking girls in India, but all are not lucky enough to be celeb. See its the charm of Caleb's that attract anyone to be celebrity. Its not only her, it could be ashiwarya or Sonia Gandhi, they attract the people attraction on what ever they do.

It doesn't all matter on looks or IQ, others may have no talent in acting whatsoever. Sushmita has done well in bollywood...from Main Hoon Naa to Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya and has many adoring fans and a good talent.
Whether she deserves to be an actress is not up to you but the film makers of Bollywood and why they have chosen her?... is because they may see a raw and sparkling speciality in her and so do others.....everyone has their unique taste in actors/actresses maybe Sush. isn't your type and i mean theres a lot of competition in Bollywood and she certainly is pretty and can act compared to a few others!

celebrity=atleast some talent+being there at the right time/place/people+manipulation + hardwork at some point of time
she was definitely there at the right time and and place while other girls of "higher IQ and better looking" wernt there. Also she was able to do the manipulation part as well. Not denying the hardwork (in making herself presentable..etc) she did put in.
Celebrities have been there in the past and so they will in future..so deal with it!!! Also remember that people love to have celebrities so that we can talk about them.

I agree. Sushmita is totally overrated.
