Carvin made such instruments for a while back in the '70s and '80s, but do not list them in their current catalogs. Allen Woody had several such instruments in his collection, but they were all custom made at his request by Gibson, Epiphone and others, including one that was a bass/mandolin combo. You got the money and the patience, you can find someone to hook you up. :)

As a self-taught drummer myself, i visit inform you that there extremely isn't any 'quick" thanks to study an device. It takes a great number of patience, practice, discipline, and hard work. Now that being suggested, some people do study swifter than others so it easily relies upon on the fellow. I easily have 2 cousins that both play guitar and both are self-taught. My one cousin Terry practiced virtually daily and picked it up swifter than my cousin Dave, who did not practice virtually as a lot. Terry became fantastically darn solid in about 8 months. all of it boils all the way down to how determined you're, how a lot you practice, and how right now you %. issues up. My suggestion will be to get an academic e book or DVD and study some chords. in case you do it on your own you'll save a great number of money and also you may bypass at your own %.. Guitar training are not any more low-priced at present, except you understand someone. merely provide it a shot on your own for a month or 2 and word the way you progression. Then in case you sense you opt for training to get better, then hit upon a fantastic instructor that should not be too intense priced. although the base line is to coach....practice.....practice! solid success!
