You should have no problems just make sure that the service history is correct its a lot of car for the money. As its an ex demonstrator the service history should be by the book.Look particularly for a cam belt change at 80,000 miles. You will find that starting from cold the engine will appear to be noisy this is normal for this type.Other thing to check is the bottom front suspension joints they can be worn at this mileage.I work on and have owned several Audis Mick UK.

WIth that age of Audi you should be putting aside £500 a year for maintenance and repairs.
The Japanese have come to learnt that buyers value reliability.
I'm not an expert with cars but I recommend you take off the oil cap (at engine) and check if you can see the cam. If not, try wait till its dark and do the same but with a torch.
You don't want to see sludge deposit all over... scroll down a little and check the pic mid way down on this site. http://www.chris-longhurst.com/carbibles/engineoil_bible.html
However Audi's can run very well if they have been looked after.
TBH I'm tired of VAG cars now. They are saying my cambelt/waterpump/ternsioners needs changing on my VW Golf after 40,000 miles or every 4 years @ around £400 a time. When I come to get a new car its gonna be Toyota/Lexus for me.... with just an occasional exception... they run and run and run providing they get serviced at the recommended intervals. Its no wonder all the Islamic countries use Toyotas.... they are reliable and keep going even in dusty hostile conditions. In your price range maybe you could consider a well maintained Lexus ?
Check the link at honestjohn's site (very knowledgable motoring correspondent for the Telegraph)
Audi A6 1.9 tdi (1997 - 2004)

It lists all the good and bad features about this car. Good luck on whatever you decide and happy travels.

particularly, Audi(s) are intense end luxury automobiles which i'd advise to a tycoon, because they don't look solid in any respect (atleast that is what i imagine). yet on your problem, why would a 6 years previous motor vehicle have merely one hundred and ten miles on it? guess the corporate ought to look into some aspects (like the engine) and provide you the real distance it has travelled.

As long as its got a full Audi service history, and I mean full, I don't see a problem, if its been neglected don't touch it. Its a good price for a 2000/01 Audi A6 and they go forever if they are looked after.

If the car has a gold-plated service history and a long warranty; it might be worth around £2,000 MAX! Audi make a good diesel but as with any diesel, how ever much it's been serviced; if it was driven hard, it will be worn out.

I THINK THAT IT HAS GONE QUITE FAR WITH 109000 MILES ON THE CLOCK BUT THE PRICE LOOKS GOOD AND THE CAR IS FAIRLY NEW BUT I THINK IT HAS GONE ABOVE THE AVARAGE FOR ITS AGE CARS GO ABOUT 10000 MILES A YEAR AND THAT IS AVARAGE SO I THINK IT IS NOT WORTH IT BUT JUST IN CASE CHEK IT FOR A FULL SERVICE HISTORY.
