i am a girl and have played in lots of basketball games knowing that the whole game depends on how i play and what choices i make because i am a point guard. try to keep your mind focused but have fun, play with all your teamates and joke around until you get out on the court and then start to get serious on the court, once you make your first basket in the game you aren't nervous.listening to music before the game helps.I hope you win your basketball tournament and that i helped, have a great weekend!

it's ok to be nervous before your tournament . it shows that you
care and that you are a competitor. it is important, however, that
you don't focus so hard early that you "burn off" your adrenaline
edge. try to go about your day with normal activity and talk to
people not involved with the game. maybe you could try watching
a movie. let your emotions build up on game day and then go out
and give it everything you have...good luck to you!

Just relax and try to enjoy your weekend. Then you can say all your energy for the tournament and win! Good luck!

Prior to the game itself, do a little warm up to loosen up and in the game, let the game come to you. Never force the situation. You're a player who knows what and how you can contribute to your team. Think and make it happen.
Good luck!

you want that feeling. it means: "I'm nervous becasue i think my team stands a chance". keep being nervous and when the game comes it will be gone and you'll be in the game winning!!!
