I agree some of it is sucky as hell. But there are some songs that are really good. Its a form of expression just like any toher art form. Because its art it is percieved differently to each person who hears it.
Just like some people look at Munch's "Scream" and think its lovely, I personaly think it is hideous.

Hip Hop and rap mean something.I know you may not be able to understand some of it but if you just look up the lyrics and read then you'll understand that it means something.

Rap and hip-hop was invented for people who wanted an early retirement - they wanted benefit for mental health and hearing difficulties.
Seriously, before they come round here and I get shot.
They don't like my '60's stuff. I don't like their rap. Each to his/her own.

I honestly don't know. I don't like it either. I am not going to say anything bad against it but I think it's a weird way of expressing music. I don't like it and it's evil and makes no sense. You can't even make out the words that they say!
