What do you think? do a person look ridiculous if they are jumping up and down and singing along -very loudly- in a rock n' roll concert?, or is it stupid?, do the artists like that?

I don't personally enjoy it myself but I am happy to see people enjoy themselves and I imagine the artists feel the same way. Sometimes it can be a safety issue if someone has been drinking too much and sometimes people just have show off, but if they are just enjoying the music and not hurting anyone who cares what anyone thinks.

It depends on the concert. At a rock concert, then yeah, you can dance. At a classical concert, no, just sit and enjoy the music.

Depends on the type of concert. They do dance at rock concerts.

Absolutely not. I've been taking names and I can assure you it will soon stop.

On a more serious note, yes, of course it's OK. I'm not into that personally but for those who are, I have no problem with it, so long as I'm not repeatedly being elbowed or bumped into.

In my experience if you DON'T do it you are in the minority. I hate having seats near these kind of people because they always say, "sit down!" People like that don't need to go to concerts...except maybe the Boston Pops....

i think it's fine you're at a dance pretty much. The artist would like that it shows how much u like their music.
