Well, I'm not Indian, but all the Indians I know are very bright and hard working people.
I do a lot of work for Indians here. When I first started working for them, most were still learning to speak english and would use their children to help translate with me. Within months most of them were speaking better english than me. They even picked up the Texas accent we have here.
Now most of them are more than just customers to me. They are my friends. One of them even brought me a sitar back from India.
