Yeah i did have a happy childhood. I traveled the globe and was close to my family. We went to many family outings and we had a lot of fun. I went to the States twice, France, Germany, Egypt, The Netherlands and the UK where i now live. I have done so many good things in my childhood with my family and i do consider it as happy since i didn't get abused by them or anything.

No. I grew up with a bipolar mother and a stepdad who never noticed anything except what was wrong. Our house was full of tension all the time and I hated going home after school every day. Now, as a grown man, I have made peace with my parents and have a good relationship with them.

What defines "happy"? I wasn't beaten by my parents, but i always felt there was something lacking, but I could never put my finger on it

No. My Mom is kind of a whack job, but my Husband has given me a great adulthood to make up for it :)

It was okay. My parents didn't really like each other but they stuck it out for 20 years for our sake, I think. They live over a thousand miles apart now and we all like it like that.
