Why is it important to recognise and respond to diversity among families across Britain in various kinds of work with children and families? how is family life changing?

We need to recognise, respond to, and value diversity among people, but not to the sacrifice of the values that have kept Western society great over the centuries.

In GB the stability and status and good things for all, like in Canada, Oz and the USA are the product of centuries of Anglican theology and values. And yes, though Americans may like it or not, the USA is the child of England.

Tricky question, especially because its so vague (general)
(do you mean diversity amongst families or within, as in interracial/inter-religious families)

But it is important to recognise and respond to the diversity amongst and within families because they're going to be part of the British future.
Especially youngsters coming from interracial families tend to be a little bit confused as in to what they are exactly.
