Steve Irwin was my hero and I for a fact was blubbering like a baby. I just couldn't believe that this incredible person was never gonna be around anymore. I was wondering If anyone else felt this way because I kind of feel alone on this.

Absolutely! What an incredible waste of life!

Such a passionate man in every way! I know some people might find it corny, but I really think he provided an excellent model for the way to live life.****

I'd also imagine that the last thing he'd want is for people to feel sad about his death. He'd probably prefer that it be an opportunity to celebrate life!

He really does live on though. Just look at Bindy! So young and already a life force like her father, not to mention his spitting image!

****(Except for dangling baby Jack in front of the crocodile. That wasn't his finest hour!)

I did ;O( It was very sad but I think he would say that was only a moment in his life not the whole book! And that he knew the risk involved and he would never hold the Sting Ray responsible because they are usual docile animals. He also would be shocked at all the response his death had caused. He loved to bring animals to people I think he succeeded!

I hate to say it but I thought it was ironic. A Stingray of all things, took out the Crocodile Hunter.
