There is nothing "unique", but there are common
stereotypical traits.

That is, a large percentage of the people came from
a small number of clans, so genetically a large portion
of them have similar attributes (nose, chin, eyes, etc.)

By definition, a Jew practices the Jewish faith - so I guess
that would be a common trait.

Since there are rich familial traditions within classic
Jewishness, there are lots of foods, ceremonies,
parental attitudes, etc. handed down from generation
to generation.

At the end of World War II, many Japanese citizens
forsook their religion (the Emporer) - and some of them
chose to become Jewish.

These people (and their decendants) have no genetic
tie to the older clans, and in many cases emulate
Hebrew traditions with little around them to re-enforce
what it "should" look like.

Their only commonality with Jews in general is their
religion, the fact that World War II was a seminal moment
in their history and the fact that they are human beings.

The Jews are very unique, as a people, for having lived all over the world and been a part of many important world civilizations for thousands of years. From advisors in the ancient Babylonian court to Russ Feingold in the U.S. Senate, the Jews are perhaps the most far-flung people, in distance and in time, that the world has ever seen.

Pretty much the biggest "stereotype" of Jewish people is that they are all rich and demand only the best. I've dated a couple of Jewish girls and they were very high maintenance. But I've only known a few Jewish people.
