Don't touch or handle them. If you do the mother will smell your scent on the ones you handle and kill them thinking they're not hers. If you must handle them, take them all and sprinkle them with baby powder before putting them back. That way they'll all smell alike and the mother won't hurt them. There's really no need to do anything with them. The mother is perfectly capable of caring for them. Just provide her sufficient food and water and keep the hutch clean. Again, if you move them to clean, use the powder on the little ones. Once they get big enough to move about handling them is no longer a problem.

Don't clean it out,put food in the end of her cage/hutch that is as far from her as possible.Give her all the food and water she wants. If dad is still in with them take him out and get him neutered. He can go back with mum when the babies go to new homes at 6-8 weeks old.

If your rabbit is outdoors bring her in as the cold might kill the babies.

If you disturb her she will either attack you or more likely kill and eat her babies.

When the babies eyes are open and they move about on their own you can handle them and this will get them tamer and make them easier to rehome.

Start looking for homes for the babies now.

Leave well alone for at least 4-5 days. Feed the mother as normal but don't go near the nest. When you do go in the nest handle the mother first then get some one else to hold her, then rub the sawdust on your hands to hide any of your smell. Don't touch the nest while she's in the hutch she may attack you.

As for cleaning the hutch just remove any soiled areas not the whole hutch but leave the nest until the babys start coming out on their own.

Good advice from Mustanger (apart from the cooking tips!) - but a point for the future - separate the males and females before they are old enough to breed ( 5-6 months) or you will soon be overrun with baby rabbits! If you don't want your adult rabbit to have any more babies keep her separate from males too.

Don't touch them untill they are a week or 2 old. The mother will clean up after the rabbits. You will have to keep them for a couple weeks till they are strong and healthy and are big enough this is if you want to sell them! hope i helped x

No you not to clean the home out till the babies are older cos if the mother smells your scent on them she could kill them. Leave them till they start moving about
