I am 17 weeks pregnant, and i dont feel right. I havent had any bleeding or anything, but im not showing...much if any. I feel a gasy pain and then it goes away. and my abdomen is tender to the touch. I havent been to the dr. since i was 12 weeks pregnant, and i am worried that something is not right with the baby. I am a petite person so i figured i would be showing by now. Would I be worried? This is my first child.

If you think there may be a problem, CALL YOUR DOCTOR.
Having said that, I didn't start showing until I was about 18 weeks along. I, too, experienced 'gas like' sensations around that time. It turned out that I was actually feeling the baby move! My mother said the same thing happened to her when she was pregnant with me.
You should be seeing your doctor every 4 weeks now, so problem or no problem, you need to have your monthly check up.
Do yourself and your baby a big favor and CALL YOUR DOCTOR!

I wouldn't worry too much, with my first you couldn't tell I was pregnant at all until about 18 weeks, and everyone is different, when my mum was pregnant with my sister she didn't show until 6 months!
The gassy pain could be baby's first movemets, when my first child started to move, I thought it was bad wind, I was worried, but the doctor explained that the movements can often feel like gas. Now pregnant with my second, I recognized those first kicks straight away!
The pain in your abdomen could just be to do with all the growing and stretching your body is doing, especially if you are petite!
Try not to worry, as that isn't doing you or your baby any good, but it would help to get checked out by your doctor ASAP, if only to put your mind at rest.
Congrats and good luck!

I didn't start showing until I was about 18/19 weeks, so that's okay. Everyone is different. Get an earlier appt. if you're really worried. You're probably just constipated and feeling miserable. I'm about 28 weeks pregnant now...and what I've learned so far is that pregnancy is always a weird feeling (its great, but it still feels weird). You'll start feeling better soon! I'm sure everything is fine, but to ease your mind try to get an appt. with your doctor ASAP so you won't be all stressed out.

you cannot go off of if you are showing or not..every women shows different. as far as the gas pain- it is possible it is GAS! one of those great things that accompany pregnancy. Try not to eat foods that may cause gas..broccoli, cauliflower, stuff like that. your abdomen is tender to touch probably with all the stretching going on in your tummy. it is hard on your body but that is what women's body's are made to do! at this point you should be seeing a doc every 4 weeks. on a regular basis. but dont be worried about not showing. i had a friend and with her first and second pregnancy she really didnt start looking pregnant until 7 months! just look at it positive, you get to wear YOUR clothes longer! but just make an appt to go to your OB monday or tuesday. dont be too worried (stress is bad for the baby) and just eat stomach calming foods..nothing with too much fiber. Goodluck!

Some people don't show yet. If you are worried call your doctor and set up an appt. That gassy pain might just be your baby moving.

Talk with your doctor about it we really have no way to answer your question on this forum. You need the doc to examine you and check it out.
