I have a Dell Dimension 2400 with its default video card installed. I was wondering if there was a better graphic card below $55-70 that is available, and also I was wondering how to install the card.

It HAS to be <$55-70 dollars
I can't afford to get anything more than that.

JessiMC, no Offense, I believe you when you say you are a Dell Technician, but a lot of the reviews on the site you showed me say that the video cards (visionTEK) are NOT compatible with some of the systems listed. I need to find a site that sells Video Cards that will be an upgrade to the default card for a Dell Dimension 2400, AND the card has to be lower than $55 in price

Actually, all I really need is a 32-bit PCI Video Card that will give me better graphics than what I'm getting with the default Video Card and at the same time is cheaper than $55

It comes accepted with a 305 watt potential grant yet which could artwork high-quality with maximum any pics card you purchase. the component is the E310 is a Pentium 4 3ghz device so determining to purchase an exceedingly intense powered pics card is probably not fairly actually worth the money. it fairly is integrated pics adapter is a puny 128mb Intel GMA950 so upgrading it does not harm. My advice may well be to discover an much less high priced PCI pics card it fairly is on sale with around 256 or 512mb of memory yet do not spend an stunning style of money on a card whilst the E310's CPU isn't efficient adequate to apply it.

Goto http://support.dell.com

Punch in your dell's Service tag.
get all the upgradability info..there.

The Manuals page shows you the steps(visually) to replace the card...so just add the new card..

But If you add another card.(then you get two video adapters listed)...you'll have to disable the Inbuilt video card....from the device manager list.
