Asmara is the capital city and largest settlement in Eritrea, home to a population of around 579,000 people. At an elevation of over 2,000 meters (7000 feet), Asmara is on the edge of an escarpment that is both the northwestern edge the Great Rift Valley and the Eritrean highlands. Textiles and clothing, processed meat, beer, shoes, and ceramics are the major industrial products.
Cheers.

Asmara is the capital city of Eritrea in the Northern Africa. Eritrea is neighboring Sudan and Etophia. Infact, historically Eritrea was part of Etophia.

Yes, it's the capital of Eritrea. I lived there for a year. It has a few cute Art Deco buildings and a Roman cathedral in the city center. A lot of Italianate style villas with bouganvilea. What else do you need to know?

Greetings Dharamvir S., I presume you're in a position of teaching, or otherwise. Either way, I'm glad to hear you'll be able to contribute to society and influence the lives of the local peoples. If you have specific questions, concerns -- any at all -- I would like to answer and address, perhaps through email.
