My fiance and I are planning a visit to Universal Orlando Fri-Sun April 20-22. How are the crowds for anyone who has been during this time. I figured since it is after spring break it wouldn't be as bad. We are thinking of buying Express passes or VIP tour if it is horrible. Thanks for your advice :)

Well, the crowds come because we have lot's of Tourists from Europe which is beautiful. It really shouldn't be that bad. Normally, it gets really crowded during June, July, and August. And very hot.

But, since I lived here for so long, I could pretty much say, it should not be that bad. I have gone tons of times with family, friends, and loved one, and either way I have always had an enjoyable time.

Spring break, well, for us Floridian's, we normally go to the Caribbeans and tourist's normally come here to Miami Florida because of all the dance clubs, bars, beaches galore. But back to Universal, you and your fiance should have a great time! There are lot's of rides and new ones added to the theme park as well.

Express passes are great! we get them too! When you get to Universal, check out the MGM studios and all the motion picture rides, they are a blast! Universal is one of my favorite amusement parks.. you will see what I mean when your first arrive here.

So, Welcome to Florida, be safe, and enjoy your vacation.

Quick tips: Keep all keys, personal belongings in a very safe place. You can rent a locker at the park too as well. People tend to lose items such as camera's, cell phones, keys, when they go on the rides..And never leave your bags, purses, ect..unattended!

Actually I went about a week earlier than that last year. The crowds weren't too awful bad during the day but worsened on into the evening. I didn't end up needing Express passes. We had a blast and the lines move pretty quickly. Alot easier than Disneyworld. Have fun!
