I want to take my family there on a weekend get-a-away this summer. We're a family of six on a limited budget. Where can we stay and what places can we visit for under $1,500 for a 2-3 night stay? Children range from 3 to 15 years of age. Thanks in advance.

Hershey is a good idea - AND nearby is Pennsylvania Dutch Country which is very cute and quaint with outlet shopping nearby.

There's a Hampton Inn about 20 minutes from Hershey Park that's VERY reasonable. (The closer you are to Hershey the more expensive it is.) Pennsylvania Dutch Country is about 45 minutes from there. (And there's FANTASTIC eating there! There's a place called Millers' that is AMAZING!)

I love going up to Hershey, PA with my family.

There's even a little theme park, tons of chocolate (sometimes they give free samples, especially if you take the tour and learn how chocolate is made).

Hershey, PA would be a good choice for that. I had a really good time there when I was about ten. My parents enjoyed the trip as well.

you have an excellent style of nerve insulting females by asserting which you would be much less clever and much less useful by distinctive function of having 3 females with you. and you're insulting human beings by calling them "nasty locals." having suggested that, you're actually not too vivid good off the bat in case you think of you would be spending pounds somewhat than money. stay homestead and don't inflict your stupid nasty selves on usa.
