I would get checked by the Dr. Just to see what's up. I'm also 37 weeks and get the same pressure and pain. I know I'm just thinning out and opening up though. Also the baby's head could be jabbing at your cervix.......and that hurts!

You have been having lots of Braxton Hick's (practice contractions if you will). Every mom is uncomfortable the last month or two of pregnancy with various pains and soreness...when you mean going to the bathroom do you mean increased urination? This is from baby being so low and pushing on your bladder, if you mean more bowel movements then your body COULD be beginning to clear itself out for labor. You are most likely not in labor right now as you don't say anything about regular contractions. You will know when the time comes, they will get longer stronger and closer together. You can't make them go away like BH contractions with movement or a change in position. They will be increasingly closer and more painful until you won't be able to talk through them. BH's are felt mostly as a tightening of your uterus, real labor contractions feel more like period cramps and originate more in your back and radiate around to the front...Good luck

When was the last time you were checked out??? I lost my plug early and had contractions for a long timr before i delivered. I was having 3 minute apart contractions and never dialated but my situation ended up being different as I had to have a csection becuase i wouldnt dialate wich dr thought was due to the procedure i had done to remove precancerous cells. You could definately be in labor I would get it checked out or at least call your dr but i am sure he will have you come in I made numerous trips to the hospital having contractions but no progress hopefully you will have an easier time that i did. Good luck

Once you lost your 'plug', did you notify the doctor / midwife?
Here in Australia you would have been induced long ago, as the risk of infection increases once the plug is lost. 2 weeks is an awfully long time...

Call the hospital and tell them what's going on. Do it right now. I don't mean to scare you, everything should be ok but you need to get this looked at right away.

Go to the doctor it sounds like you are in labor. You should get an ultrasound to make sure that everything is ok. The last days of pregnancy are hard I feel for you. Good luck with the baby.
