Earth makes one revolution around the sun in 365.25 days.
Day is the time from sun up to sundown with the new day beginning at sundown. The question of whether we are moving or the sun is moving doesnt matter. (note to Raven)
The recent custom of starting the day at midnight is based on the sun being overhead at noon.
