If they won't go on just by plugging it in, then try this:
1. Plug in your iPod using the USB cable
2. Run iTunes.
3. Once it recognizing the iPod, click on the iPod under Devices, on the left side.
4. Click the sync button, once you have videos and movies that is.
5. If this doesn't work than it can be that you have iTunes set to manual and not auto that means checked and unchecked songs are not picking up.

First, you have to get a converter if it still has a different format. Convert it, then, you could transfer it to your iPod through iTunes.
