I don't have one of those signs.

But that reminded me of this sign I saw at Tractor Supply:

"Don't Worry About The Dog. BEWARE OF WIFE!"

Made me laugh.

Yes. Mine say beware of dogs and trespassers will be shot.

Yes...legally you must post if you want to protect yourself against lawsuits (for the dog) or to report trespassers.

Here in Canada I have one that says beware of moose. My pet moose likes to stand in front of cars on the highway at night. He's got murder in his giant moose heart, but I won him in an arm wrestling tournament, so I can't get rid of him.

yes, because if your dog mauls some kid to death you will get charged with manslaughter

the no trespassing is so that you can kill anyone who trespasses (like trick or treaters) and avoid legal trouble like wrongful death lawsuits
