It is a very good question indeed.
I feel that euthenasia should NOT be promoted as miracles do happen.
As I read in the newspaper euthanasia means intentional killing of a physically, mentally, or intellectually weak person.
Had thomas alva edison, or einstien, or may be newton been killed in the early stages of life, the world would definitely be lacking many of its resources.
However as your question says, I am against euthanasia, but if the person wants to die, there should be no obstructions in his will.

Heh. i became arguing the comparable component some weeks in the past throughout a regulation type. We have been s'posed to be debating the decriminalisation of AS, and that i became s'posed to be on the gang against decriminalisation, yet interior my team (and as a fashion of demonstrating what arguments the different component might positioned forward) I argued what i actually believed. :) Assisted suicide could be criminal for all, even yet it could actually be fairly intently regulated so as that it fairly is especially much impossible for somebody to be coerced into it - and likely, I do recognize how perplexing which may be, and so no, i don't think of it would take place until we could make it especially much impossible. Suicide itself isn't unlawful however, and not all failed tries effect interior the guy being incarcerated in a psychological unit. Oh yeah, and that i disagree with your "final motel" remark too - i think of it could actually be all the way down to the guy, as - such as you have already mentioned - it fairly is impossible (at present) to truly comprehend somebody else's physique of strategies.

In religious matter it's not permitted, only God is the only one that can end the suffering of the sick person.Performing euthanasia is " killing " and that's a sin.I know it's very sad to see a loved one suffering a lot of pain,but....... we can only pray for the ending of their suffering and wait.Take Care!

yes i think.euthanasia shud be permitted b'coz the person who is the suffer knows how he/she is dragging the life.only biological metabolism does not account to life. we are not here on this earth to spend our life god sent us to live it to the fullest.

everyone thinks from thier own point of veiw but from the terminally ill person's sight ,life according to him is dependence even for every small thing.we people living far away from such patients can't even imagine the pain of the suffer and his near dear ones.i am sure those person will show a smile of relief when they will hear such notice of the government. but this shud'nt be misused like killing a person by giving him a medical report that he is in such case.

I think this is a personal decision between the person and GOD. It should not be left up to a law makers interpretation. You can't reeally say how it should be until you have been in their shoes.

Yes pull my plug without any hesitation, meaning that the choice should be left you when you are sane and make a living will

to me its personal. that is why we have living wills. this helps the family not make that choice. it is a burden to carry. DNR orders are the best way to make sure your family does not have to make that choice..
