"Beauty is on the inside" is not just something pretty people say to make others feel better. IT IS TRUE. Case in point: I used to work with a black woman who was tall, confident, moderately funny and very kind. She knew she was beautiful and men would have crawled on glass on their knees just to be near her. Every week she had more men ask her on dates than she could keep track of. One day I just found myself looking at her -- really LOOKING at her, and you know what? She was a rather unfortunate looking woman. There was not one feature on her that people would say was pretty. But SHE did'nt seem to know it. She acted beautiful, therefore she WAS beautiful. And I don't mean that she acted conceited or stuck-up -- she was very sweet, she just acted beautiful and the whole world thought she was. Your grandmother was right. "Beauty is as beauty does."

who says? everyone is pretty/handsome in their own way,and whats on the inside counts the most,because no matter how pretty someone is,their looks deminish as they age. If you find yourself beautiful,thats all that matters.

you probably are, but just don't know it yet. i'm asuming you are a female. ALL women are beautiful is some way. make the best out of what GOD gave you. try a new hairstyle, makeup or dress differently. you need to feel good about yourself first.
