There are "bad" guys on both sides. The bad ones are those who set bombs. The "good" guys are those who are trying to come to a settlement. The problematic ones are those who are trying to gain power and control. The majority of Muslims in Iran are Shiite. The Sunnis were in control under Saddam Hussein. There are/were also many Kurds, Chaldeans (catholics) and some other religious groups living in Iraq a decade ago.
Probably the most guilty guys are those Sunni Muslims who are not even from Iraq who have come there only for the purpose of fighting.

Kurd s seem to be the most sane and they are Sunnis. Shiites are good guys but are extremely pissed off with Sunnis (not the Kurd s but the Sunnis that support Hussein) and want to extract revenge on them. I don t trust the other Sunnis, as I don t trust Saudi Arabia and other Sunnis countries. Shiites look to be the victims of Sunnis leaders like Saddam Hussein, Saudi royal family, and other countries leaders.
All I can say is that Sunnis terrorist have attack us more and more violently than any Shiites (though they are no saints) and yet the USA seems to back Sunnis more than Shiites. I think the only reason being that we getting a large amount of Oil from Sunnis countries like Saudi Arabia and none from Iran. But the USA is picking sides in a religious war when we should be neutral.

The sunnis originally abused the shiites horribly with the rule of Sodam Insane, but don't forget the kurds who were also abused by sodam. Shiites are enjoying majority of the power now.
The sunnis rule more by law of the ruler where as shiites rule by their clerics and religion.
Unfortunately, this whole situation gets more complicated by the neighbors surrounding Iraq because they support one side or the other.
In contrast, this is like the U.S. civil war as far as government goes, federal vs. state. Was the North the bad guys or the South?
There is a danger from each side because a dictator could end up like sodam, and on the other hand, religious rule would keep the region is discourse.
If the constitution they agreed upon could be honored, they have a chance to emerge as a great nation again.

I agree, they are both bad...but not necessarily equally. I truly believe they are both bad in the sense that neither of them really were born of a devine nature. Islam appears to really be nothing more then a satanic cult. If you do your best to study this Mohammad guy who started the whole thing...he never ever seems to come close to being of a saintly being. Upon the death of this guy (I know he does not deserve any social respect) his...family friend follower a Sunni...and a...family member a Shiite...have been fighting ever since. There are also actually two korans...a old one and a newer one...sort of like the bible. The old one was more of the Shiite philosophy and the newer one is more of the Sunni philosophy. The old one was a kinder gentler book...the newer one is really into converting or killing the rest of us who do not wish to be a part of their sick cult. Islam should not be called a religion and there really should be a world outcry to abolish that entire cult non-sense...and it should begin with those poor souls who were born into it.
This is how I, an outsider, view this. I know I am pretty close to being somewhat accurate in my understanding. If something expresses Love, Life, and Beauty we should go towards it...because this is of God. If something expresses the exact opposite (hate, death, and ugliness) go away from it...because this is of Satan. "The Peace of the Lord be with you and yours."

first of all its perspective. not all shiates/sunnis are bad,
one thing people forget is that US!!!! put sadaam husien to power!! and he was a suni!!!
he caused the deaths of many shiates!!!!
the shiates were the majority in iraq at the persian gulf war thing and now.
shiate majority wanted sadaam dead because he was the minority that was killing his opponents shiattes. so the hanging took place. us is remorseful for putting him to power and are currently in iraq!
so now, militias of shiates and sunis are in a civil war!
the US is trapped in the middle.
---civil wars go on and on right now the civil wars are intense in africa.
us shud help or just leave..things might get worse. or maybe
reduce the troopS!!!!
so basically shiates and sunis are provoking each other by burning mosques(moslem vs moslem ...Us in the middle!:()
anyways in the end both sects are part of the islamic race and civil wars can happen anywhere!

Al-qaeda is a Sunni Organzation, but not all sunnis are working with them. You can't group all people like this. There are good people in Iraq, and there are religious extremists from both sides.

i replaced into the undesirable boy freshman 3 hundred and sixty 5 days of highschool. I had the douchebag surfer's decrease and that i cherished being propose to everybody that would no longer defend themselves. female's dig that style of habit because of the fact they prefer the alpha male in the %. of all the different men. a woman prefer's a guy that could get up for himself and knows what he needs in existence. maximum undesirable boy's have that high quality. i will under no circumstances understand why female's run decrease back to the douchebag's. psychological situation perhaps? have you ever heard of the quote "stunning men end final." it incredibly is no longer constantly authentic. All female's are diverse, its basically that a severe share of them have an interest in the undesirable boy's.
