The hardest part was eating..... one job was at a factory and another was at a fast food restaurant, so i ate alright except when i had a day off at the restaurant. It was tough, because the town i was in was so small there was no soup kitchen or homeless shelter..... I stole bread and peanut butter once from a grocery store.
after i had saved enough money to get a place to live, i got a used ford ranger instead of an apartment, with a camper top on the back.... bought a used mattress to lay in the back... and because it was February, i got a little propane heater (the kind for camping) to keep me warm... but, still no pot to piss in, and no place to bath... but i got some shampoo and soap, so i could at least smell good.
