I know that ovulation can cause cramping, but my cramps last longer than ovulation cramping. I have been to my Dr. and she said I am healthy but could not explain my cramping. She said everyone is different. I am hoping someone out there might offer me a better explanation for my discomfort.

I don't know a direct answer to your question, but I too had the same issue. I started taking a product called opc3 for my asthma & it cleared up my period problems. I started studying why that would have an affect on my periods & I learned that it worked kind of like a blood thinner. Now I have no cramping hardly at all & my periods flow at a good rate. I also used to have alot of nasty blood clots. Thanks to this product my periods are as great as they can be! Check out OPC 3 at www.elizabeths.unfranchise.com

I am sorry for all of your discomfort! I do know that if you drink allot of water ( like all of the time) that this will reduce the severity of period cramps. TOO they have now discovered a new syndrome that certain woman go through that compared to regular PMS symptoms are ten times as bad. They have a medicine that they are now prescribing for it. I am sorry that I don't remember the name for it, but I would be willing to bet my last dollar that a doctor would if you ask them specifically for the name of it.

I am so sorry I can't be of more help, I hope that you can find something that will help you with this discomfort.
