I live in Nashville, Tn and I swear we have had the same news anchors on our Channel 4 news for over 25 years!
As well as Channel 2 and Channel 5. I am sick to death of hearing their voices and looking at them!

HOW DID THESE PEOPLE GET HIRED?

DID THE BIG MEDIA COMPANIES HAVE A HAND IN IT?
AS WELL AS WHAT THEY REPORT ON?

Here in the UK, the anchors for the local BBC news programmes like to think of themselves as celebrities - they are forever opening supermarkets, schools etc etc.
Does my head in!!!!!
The weather presenters are even worse and they are on for 2 minutes a day!!!!

If you think that is bad, try other countries! LOL.
Round these parts they get hired because of audition tapes, and sometimes because they are on staff and get a chance to try on camera.

That's the reason why i stopped watching TV.
