Besides the love, I love the laughs I have with my son - we're on such a wavelength and kids say the funniest things as we all know so I'd hate to have missed out on all that.
Also, having kids has made me a much better person - i've more patience, understanding, I listen more and am calmer and fun loving. So, wow, if they can do that for you its much better than any therapy!

The best thing is that unconditional way they love you. That is the most wonderful feeling in the world. When my boys were born the feeling that came over me was indescribable.Have this tiny baby being put in your arm for the first time. WOW!!! that's i guess how i felt.

Everything really, when I was pregnant my doctor told me that 'kids will give you the most heartache but they will also bring you the most joy' and it is so true. As hard as it is sometimes bringing up a child they are worth every bit of it.

watching them grow
& all the little things they do that make you laugh
they are worth all the hard work they put you through
watching them grow in to little men & women & be a sucsess in what ever they do
feel proud of them when they achevie something new be their best friend & some time their worst enemy lol

the best thing about having kids is you have created a mircle of life. u have created your part in the future. and they are the only thing in the world that show you what love is. and no one knows what love is intill you have kids

The best thing. When they are young and they fall asleep in your arms. The love that you share. Watching them grow and knowing that it is a gift from God (what ever god you believe in) that you helped create. Just watch out for those teenage years.

You may laugh and other might think this is silly....but its "immortality"....not to mention all the love that grows within you when you have a child.
I will be the first to say that Parenting is the TOUGHEST job out there, but also the most rewarding.

Watching them grow and learning new things, my little boy has just started standing up, me and my husband are sooo proud. And everytime he laughs its like we are hearing it for the 1st time, and all the love and cuddles they give you.
