Does anyone know the poem "Two little Duckies?"

Two little ducky birds sitting on a wall
One named Peter, and one named Paul
Fly away Peter, Fly away Paul
Come back Peter, Come back Paul

After reading this poem, would you be able to tell me in your own words what you think the message in this poem is?

Thanks a bunch!

P.s. I don't want anything from the internet, I just want your own personal opinions

my interpretation is that it is about 2 little birds learning to fly but also learning to come back home, too.

Surely, they were Dickie Birds? At least they were when we sang it and they were ravens or crows.

Always thougth the meaning was about friends and how they argue but then always come back together and make up after it. That's my impressions from childhood anyway, of course it probably has some awful history involving the plague or something but I always liked my version better :)

Its about the music group the Beatles.
Paul is Paul who left to start Wings (fly away get it)
Peter is George who died.

Actually, I thought it was "Two little dicky birds", not ducky. I always imagined that it was about two little birds.

I think it must be about a mom playing with her babies fingers. Sort of like " this little piggie went to market." That would make sense to me.
