To save on windows media player. Click on file while it is playing.Click on add to library,then click on add currently playing item.It will be on library list,look on list on left for type selection such as cd,movies. Good luck.

On my windows media player (version 11 I think)
the tool bar at the top is hidden...
if you go to the top of the media player window and Right Click (or left click depending on how your mouse is set up) your mouse right next to where it says Windows Media Player, you will see the word, file...then just scroll down to "save as"

If you can play on windows media player, the video most probably can be uploaded onto youtube.
Unless you are talking about streaming videos on windows media player, then you would have to download a program to obtain the streaming video. Here is a website that has more information on streaming videos. http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/
