My bf used to take me to those clubs with his friends, but not anymore lately. He said I coz him stress and he had to chill, plus I don't know anybody there, although I really wanted to hang out with him but since he said he wants some space and stuff, I guess I shall leave him alone.But what could this possibly mean?

One of two things: he really does just want some chill time with his friends alone, or he enjoys the attention that he gets from the women at the club.

next time he ask you out to a party then say the same thing to him. Be aware if he had this kind of excuse expect for another kind that could be worse than this one.

that he wants some independence, some time alone or maybe he wants 2 feel single for an hour or 2 so he can relate with his mates.

If someone tells you they need space, that usually mean they want to break up but they dont know how to tell you.

it means that he doesnt like you anymore..and its either he is lookinmg for someone else or he is seeing someone else.
Its ok, maybe he is not really meant for you and you should be happy coz you can go partying and look for another..
