It's happening already.
The thugs of the ruling ANC government are crippling the country under a burden of graft, greed and racism, playing the apartheid/race card every time someone calls them out on their criminality.
Racist laws are in place to steal white owned land and businesses and people are told to leave the country if they don't like the crime.
Worse still, a Marxist witchdoctor is the Minister of Health, who, after ground-breaking research, has discovered that the same remedy for vampires - garlic - is also a cure for AIDS.
The South African rand is worth as much as a roll of toilet paper here in the USA and the country is a killing field for any lost souls that hazard to holiday there.
As more and more farm land is STOLEN from white farmers there, more and more people will starve.
Cest La Vie.

Jack Daniels - I hope you're right, dude. I also hope this unnamed military 'intellegence' is smarter than your spelling.
That's a joke - I actually like you.

Dawn S - you have the reasoning capability of a retarded monkey. The fact that you even support a monster like Mugabe - who stole far more land from black farmers than from whites - shows the level of your limited so-called intellect.
And, genius, no one is entitled to land by virue of birth, so no one stole anything from anyone.

Hundreds of years ago, when white settlers arrived, no land belonged to anyone. These settlers displayed the ingenuity to farm and cultivate the land. They earned the right to keep it.

DolphinLami - the savage in charge of your country's health issues prescribes beetroot and garlic for AIDS. Who else would do that but a witchdoctor?

Sadly my friend or to use a favorite phrase of yours "dude" it's never going to happen, there are things in the pipe line to prevent that of which you and many are not aware, i will not elaborate any further but i am sure you get the drift. There is a lot going to happen still before the final action plan is implemented and at times the situation will look absolutely hopeless but it isn't, it's just a question of hang tough.I hope those pricks in the ANC are monitoring this forum because their day is coming and they should be shitting themselves because of what is going to happen.

As a person who has lived in both countries, I cannot tell you how this question haunts me! I have seen some awful things in Zimbabwe and I think of those left behind, most days and nights. Despite everything, I have every confidence that South Africa WILL survive and come back from the brink of destruction before it roller-coasts into a bottomless pit. I really wish that I could know for sure what will happen but I don't. I DO know that I have more faith in the fact that SA will change it's ways before it's too late. I just wish that these two countries could receive more attention from the USA like Iraq, Iran etc. are getting. I feel that the world ignored the problems in Zimbabwe thats why Mugabe can continue to do as he pleases. It's just as bad (if not worse) in Zimbabwe, as it is in Iraq! So people, there are desperate humans, especially children there, waiting for the world to help! I hope that SA will change their president soon because he never helped the people of Zimbabwe when he could have!

I think in 1994 Zimbabwe was about where S.A. are now, where the majority of the Europeans were still there and land reforms were still to be implemented. Europeans were still in posession of most of the economy and land.
However I believe like Alf that it will take a little longer because of the extensive infrastructure and commercial establishments already in place. (Basically there is so much more to f...up than in other African countries).
So maybe another 2 decades until the last denialists flee before that rainbow shoots, strangles or rapes them.

isnt anyone doing their research...?
Mugabe is on the verge of retiring and the old fool cant even do it in Zim because he's made so many enemies and ruined the place. He's own people are mad at him, that he was forced to earlier build his retirement sanctuary in Namibia... for his safety.
The SA government would be beyond doff to allow SA to follow in the foot steps of such a place and "leader/dictator"...
if they want to see any progress in South Africa... they better rethink their role models and choose better ones... and Mugabe shouldnt even be on the list.
As for the rest of the **** mentioned... i beg to differ, yes i agree with most, but not all...

I must admit that S.Africa in not the safest country in the world, but it will never become Zimbabwe. You should get facts to prove your insane theory. Your questions is ridiculous and causes unfair hate towards the South African government.
People should stop complaining and find a solution. You are not helping the situation.
Crime is a result of a previous racist government that did not allow the majority of the population the right to an education.
I truly believe that South Africa will succeed in the near future.

If you are still in the country, the answer is overnight. No kidding. It won't happen, we don't have a tyrant in our leadership. As much as most of your questions and answers seem to suggest that. We don't have a witchdoctor as the Minister of Health. I wouldn't say the SA Rand is worth as much as toilet paper in the US. As American's still find holidaying in South Africa expensive because of the high standard of holidays, hotels and the fighting Rand. Maybe people in the State you are in don't know the difference between a Zim dollar and a South African Rand. What is the basis of your question anyhow???

It will take longer than it took Mugabe to wreck Zimbabwe because there is more to steal. It wont happen through the Ballot Box because democracy as we understand it in the West is a foreign concept to Africans. It will need the West to intervene but do they have the will? Perhaps the re-colonisation of Africa by China/Russia/Iran thus depriving the West of resources may be the catalyst.

Nelson Mandela - spelled with one 'l' - no longer superb to misspell properly prevalent names. no longer superb to spell any call fairly extraordinarily while that's fairly uncomplicated to discover. And he's a South African. overlook approximately Hennie. He went to college - i understand as a results of fact he spells properly - yet he never found out to think of. unhappy! And a made of Apartheid - speaking approximately dream worlds. As suggested with the help of the thinking human beings right here, there is no longer something American approximately Africa or Mr. Mandela. It quite cracked me as much as study Karen C approximately calling the unique whites interior the U.S. British individuals. What are we meant to call people who're so interracial that they have got 5 or 6 categories of blood working by way of their veins? British French Italian Australian individuals? What a mouthful which will ultimately be for some human beings. possibly it could be much less puzzling just to show the continent they arrive from Euro Asian Aussie individuals? nonetheless a mouthful! somewhat ridiculous! the only maximum mandatory subject Mandela did replaced into convey democracy to South Africa and do it without there being a civil conflict and without turning the rustic right into a black reproduction of the former white management. management is the substantial be conscious right here. Mbeki did no longer have Mandela's potential of character, his air of secrecy nor his imaginative and prescient so issues tended to finally finally end up quite watered down. in spite of the incontrovertible fact that, in Mr. Mbeki's protection, Nelson Mandela replaced right into a puzzling act to maintain on with for who ever else could have been chosen. one ought to assert that Mr. Mandela positioned South Africa on the map for countless worldwide places. it fairly isn't any small feat as a results of actuality that it replaced into non violent issues that he dropped at worldwide interest - no longer conflict as in maximum of worldwide places of late.

First of all the idea Mugabe had was correct.Unfortunately his excution was more than dismal. Cannot say exactly when and if SA will become another zimbabwe. In response to Mr Daniels/Brad, talking about the theft of white owned farmlands by the ANC.Please Mr Dude, who stole what....what planet are you on.The whole of SA land belongs to the blacks.Just becuase racist whites stole it hundreds of years ago doesnt make it theirs. All land should be returned to its original owners and if you dont like it, go back to Europe. It would be very sad if SA becomes another zimbabwe but guess what. If they mess it up then so be it.It is theres to mess up.
