I guess the impact is easy to figure it out.
But globalisation is way to expand a business to other places in your terms.

Besides ever hear of other companies like KFC, Dunkin Donuts and other food establishments. All competes to get the demand to the public. If the public likes it and the company recieves big bucks there is a way for it to expand it's sales
