Okay I pick up after mine, but there's people that don't! Everyone with a pet got a warning, which said if we don't pick up we would get a fine. Now the maintenance workers don't know who took which crap, so they're probably just going to report back to the office that no one is doing it. Should I go to the office and snitch?!?!

If you know who it is, I would tell them that everyone has to do the nasty deed of picking up after our pets, and you do not want to be blamed for a pile of poop that is not your responsibility. If that does not work, then yes, I would tell the office. You shouldn't have to pay for something you are not to blame for. People like that really irritate me. It takes 5 seconds to pick up, makes our property look and smell nicer, and, there is nothing worse than stepping in a pile of crap. You go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, we put up a LEGAL sign that has a picture of a man bending over picking up the dog stuff. It says, " Pick up after your pet!" But it's not just a piece of paper. It's a REAL SIGN. Maybe you could do that.

I don't think they can hold you to a fine if they can't prove your dog did it. I wouldn't snitch. I would have a chat with my neighbors. If that doesn't work I would have a chat with the manager and explain that you do clean up after your pet but others do not.

I left a note on my across-the-street neighbor's door after their dog crapped on my front yard every morning at 0600 sharp. They very kindly complied with my request to stop the daily piles.
