They are all family names and it is a tradition for the boys to have 2 or 3 middle names. Does it go well with Alyssa Jade?

I think that is too many long names together. maybe put a short one in there and take out a couple of the long ones

It's nice to carry on the tradition in your family, but the name does seem a bit long (though I don't know what I would shorten it to.)
Of course, he won't be a little boy all his life, and will grow into his name.
Personally, I don't think it goes with Alyssa Jade, which is an obviously shorter name.
Nathaniel, August, Friedrich, and James are all more traditional, old sounding names (nothing wrong with that), but the names Alyssa and Jade sound quite modern.
It doesn't matter too much though because it is not that often that people would refer to your children together by their full names.
Nathaniel and Alyssa do go well together.

In reality, your child will be know as Nate James, or Nathaniel James. That name conjurs up an image of a middle-aged man, not a baby, or a young boy, which is what he'll be for many years to come.

I like it.

I think Nathan Friedrich James is better though.
