I know that everyone else is saying big namers like Hulk Hogan, Vince McMahon, The Rock, Triple H, Ric Flair, and Eddie Guerrero, but I think that the most influential wrestler in the WWE in the last 25 years is no big namer, but Chris Benoit himself. Although he has only had a 21 year career, those years have been a roller coaster for us WWE fans. Chris Benoit has always been there for us WWE fans when we wanted to see wrestling, when we wanted to see entertainment. He proved that you can accomplish your dream if you go for it. For example, look at his dream of winning the World Heavyweight championship. Did he not accomplish it in the Main Event of WrestleMania XX? Chris Benoit doesn't have too many awesome moves in his arsenal and still he is a persevering wrestler. He is probably the best superstar to choose for an I Quit match because even if he is in deadly pain, Chris Benoit will never quit. That is what makes him a multiple-time US champion, a World Heavyweight champion, and what got him there, a Royal Rumble winner. No top namers are needed to answer this question, but in my opinion the most infulential WWE wrestler of the last 25 years is Chris Benoit. Why? ^^^Read above.^^^

Hulk Hogan. But I am not going to be a complete *** towards wrestling in general like someone above. He was overated. But I will have to admit if it wasn't for him Wrestling would not be what it is today. Doesn't mean he was a good wrestler. He really wasn't. Better than some of todays so called wrestlers though.

Shawn Michaels...because his character was innovative and power hungry, and inspired a whole generation of wrestlers that are, as we talking, competing with HBK in the WWE (Edge is one of them, to give you an example).

I think either Ric Flair or the Undertaker. Both have been around for a long time and have seen it all.

Hulk Hogan. He demonstrates VKM's preference for huge, enhanced wrestlers who have few moves to their repetoire, cartoonish, over-blown characters who rarely lose except to toher over-blown characters.

Latino Heat, Eddie Guerrero. Just his story in itself is amazing. And, have you read his book? What he's done is incredible, and how he's overcome his addiction and gotten his old life back after Vicky his wife left him. He overall was just amazing and inspiring. R.I.P. Eddie Guerrero.
