The librarian couple across the street have gone religious and they want me to join their faith, they won't take no for an answer. I'm not relgious in the slightest. What would you do, to get rid of them?

Tell them your not interessted.
The best way to think of religion is that it's like alcohol.
Some people never touch it, it's not something they are interessted in.
Some people try it when life is really tough, just enough to help them get through to the next day.
And some people get so wraped up in it, it becomes there life and then they start shouting at people and looking foolish.
The bottom line is it's ok to have a drink now and then and it's ok to pray now and then, just don't overdose on it and let it destroy who you are.
If you really don't want to get involved with them, just tell them your not interessted and if they keep going at you, just tell them,
In moments of trouble, God will come to me, I don't need to go to him because God already loves me as he does everyone.
If they are really christians, then they will believe that.

Honesty is the best policy. I cant see how you can say they wont take no for answer. It doesnt sound like you are being firm enough. Sometimes when it comes to religion and people trying to convert you into theirs, you have to get down right rude. My inlaws are Jehovah Witnesses, and I had to get very rude. They got the poiint. Just tell them that you are NOT going to join them and if they continue to force the issue then get a restraining order against them, that is how I got rid of those people, sometimes it takes some force of your own to make them back off and leave you be. Best wishes. =)

Seriously though, tell them to leave you the F alone. That they are annoying and irritating. That their overbearing persistence is NOT going to make you change your mind. Tell them to mind their own business and worry about keeping their own soul out of hell.

Start wearing "Black Sabbath" t-shirts, smoking joints in full view of the neighbours and write "666" on your forehead with permanent marker. Tattoo it, if you really want them to think you're serious.

Tell them it is your right to follow the religion of your choice and that you have chosen none.
Personally, I'd tell them my chosen path is one of a witch and if they don't leave me alone I'd cast a banishing spell on them. Watch them run... LOL

mate you want rid of these nutters quickly my sister is one and i have to put up with it everyday.do whatever it takes to get rid of them,the world will be a better place
