I just had a very strange dream last night that inspires the question. Something about being introduced to a group/cult on a hillside. Lots of interesting/freaky people, disregard for normal society's rules, strange feeling in the air that something bad's about to happen.

Anyway, what sort of real experiences have you had?

Thanks.

I am a Freemason. I can promise you from first hand experience that there is nothing cult like or evil going on.
We are nothing more than a bunch of people that have supper together meet build friendships and learn how to be a better person.

If you are a strict biblical Christian than i can direct you to the places in the bible everyone is make such a fuss about.

Some of the things taught at a Masonic lodge are::
--torlerence of reilgons
--torlerence of all politcial oppinions
--all people are equal
--being charitible is very important
--a person's innerquilities are more important than his worldly weaths or honors
--always being honest in all your dealing with mankind

Believe it or not some Christians tell me it is against the bible to believe some of those things.

It has become a common used phrase by Mason to describe what we do but it is very true

Masons outfitted each and every of the great homes and church homes that we see to-day some have been indentured or apprenticed and a few have been loose to do what ever paintings replaced into attainable. The catholic church did no longer like that as they needed them basically to paintings for the church so as that they began to type loose motels of loose Masons like a union of to-day. those days any guy over 21yrs can connect those loose motels as loose Masons. And because it replaced into many times basically men who have been builders that they save the custom of basically having men of their craft (would desire to i as a guy circulate to a nicely lady health center or a girl's help look after i do no longer think of so) as you will discover there is no secret in the back of what they do (i'd desire to SAY a similar approximately lady'S help SHELTERS) and somebody would have faith that they to are a secret society. To any individual who Say's all loose masons are wealthy attempt residing on £80 3-50 a week and say you're wealthy, in happiness and relatives particular i'm wealthy, yet as for wealth take a stroke and proceed to exist on advantages in Britain. To muktar replace Freedom with Anarchy, and regulation and order with terrorism, has under no circumstances been area of Freemasonry different than on your terrorist questioning recommendations. Your way of questioning creates suicide bombers and others to think of the choice of the fact.

Freemasonry is an oath bound fraternal order of men which derives from the medieval fraternity of Freemasonry. We adhere to many of the Ancient Charges, laws, customs, and legends of operative Freemasonry. We are loyal to the civilian government under which we exist. We inculcate moral and social virtues by symbolic application of the operative stonemasons' working tools and by allegories, lectures and charges. Freemasonry obligates its members to obey the principles of brotherly love, equality, mutual aid, secrecy and confidence. We have secret modes of recognition that permit members to recognize each other as brothers. We require a through examination into the mental, moral and physical qualifications of a petitioner and we admit men into the fraternity by secret ceremonies based in part on legends of the Craft.

Once a person has decided to apply for membership he fills out a petition signed by 2 members of the Lodge he desires to join. He gives the petition to one of the brothers along with the required initiation fee. The petition is read at the Lodge's next stated meeting when the Worshipful Master will appoint an investigating committee who will interview the petitioner in person. The investigating committee will report back to the Lodge at the following stated meeting when all members present will vote on the petitioner. Once the petitioner is accepted he is given the three degrees of Entered Apprentice, Fellow Craft and the Sublime Degree of a Master Mason. There are certain requirements which a candidate must meet before proceeding from one degree to the next.

One must obtain the Sublime Degree of a Master Mason before he is allowed to wear any Masonic jewelry. One must have a Belief in a Supreme Being and HOLY BOOKS play an important part in all Masonic Rituals, Ceremonies and Activities. The tenets of the Masonic Fraternity are " Brotherly Love, Relief and Truth. " The Masonic Fraternity is NOT a Secret Society but rather a Society with Secrets like other Fraternal Orders such as the Independent Order of Odd Fellows, Eagles, Moose, Elks, Druids, Knights of Pythias, Knights of Columbus, Knights of St. John, etc. etc. The Masonic Fraternity is NOT Satanic in nature.

Please ask Masonic Fraternity Brothers for information regarding this Fraternity for there are many who claim to have knowledge but have erroneous information. To know about the Masonic Fraternity or any other Fraternal Organization it is best to contact a member who can provide correct information.

Suggest if you are interested in pursuing interest in the Masonic Fraternity and are over 18 years of age you contact a man whom you know to be a Mason for further information and an application. if you are under 18 years of age you can inquire about the DeMolay Organization.

If no local Masonic Lodge is available please contact the Grand Lodge of Masons for the State in which you reside. The Grand Lodge Officers will be pleased to help you in any way possible.
