I took 2 tbsp at 2 pm yesterday and it is now 7:30 am and nothing happened I mean I didnt even have to go to the bathroom. Did anyone else try this and this happen to you. How much does it take. It should have done something right.

Try prune juice,I tried the Castor oil before and it did not do anything,my Doctor told me to drink prune (concetrate)and it really work.Good Luck

If you are hoping for labor I would give up now!!!! I took Castor Oil with my first ( about half of the bottle ) And I walked around having very painful contractions for 3 days the problem, though I was having contractions they weren't doing anything because my cervix wasn't soft enough yet, The biggest mistake I made went to the hospital 2 times... 1st given a shot of morphine & sent home 2nd given seconal (sleeping pill) and sent home again finally after three days I went back to the hospital and begged them to keep me and induce labor I went through 16 hrs. of very hard , very painful labor after having no sleep for three days. it was so traumatic I almost died ( the truth )

I took Castor oil when I was 2 weeks over and went into labor, but when i got to the hospital they told me it brings on false labor, but since i was there anyway and i was 2 weeks over they bought the baby on.....sleep while u can lol

Castor Oil should not be used as a laxative!
It is to "grease the bowel" not to empty it!

Castor oil is suppose to make you sick to your stomach. It doesn't work for everyone, though.
Try apple juice and honey.

eat 5 figs and drink warm milk with butter in it,you will not need plunger.

have a wild sack session with you hubby! there are horomones in his semen that will help soften your cervix! just make sure when he ejaculates he does it pretty deep in there! good luck!
