A person who actually understands the essence of the guidelines, who knows the exact purpose of thesew guidelines would believe that they are useful. However, most of these guidelines are forgotten. We are left out with tit-bits of it, leading us to misconceptions about it.
Talk about a guideline, and I'll let you know how useful it is...

Community guidelines are good as long as they remain short, few, and simple. Treat others as you would like others to treat you.
