Because I have A LOT--like 7 pairs of jeans plus lots of other pants, skirts, shirts, etc. And I'm thinking of selling some of it on Ebay since this is my 3rd pregnancy (I may have a couple more kids, but probably not enough to warrant all the clothes I have)! So I'm looking for numbers here--like how many jeans do you really think I need? And pants, skirts, shirts, etc? I'm a stay-at-home mom. Thanks!

3 pairs of jeans, 4 pairs of knit pants, 7 shirts and maybe you can use 1 or 2 skirts. And that has been working enough for me. Esp. if you can mix and match.

When I was pregnant I only had about three pairs of pants that I bought at a second hand store and some shirt there as well. Near the end my "maternity" clothes did not fit me anymore and I actually had to buy some maternity clothes from a store. I bought two shirts and bought some pants from a second hand store again (sweats) Also during the summer I was about 5-6 months pregnant and I wore skirts which really helped with the heat and the elastic waist band expanded with my ever so growing tummy. Oh I also had to buy bigger underwear :D and new shoes!!!

there's not really a rule on this.. since you are a stay-at-home mom, i don't think you'll be needing a lot. just make sure you have something to wear when you go out. when i was pregnant with my first baby, i only had 2 pairs of pants (stretchable ones), 2 skirts, and 7 tops.. i lasted my pregnancy with that wardrobe.. sell what you don't need on ebay. at least you'll have extra money for the baby or yourself..

when i was preg in only had 3 pair of pants, i had to wear a uniform dress at work, and lots of shirts. but i'd say enough to last you a week so you can do laundry for the pants and maybe more shirts cause my shirts always got dirty.

It all depends upon how often you do laundry, and if you have "stretchies" (sweat pants, stretchy shorts, etc.) and other clothes that will still fit you while pregnant.

I only bought three pairs of shorts when I was pregnant last summer.
