If the situation requires a leader and there is none, or if I feel to be the most capable, I'll lead with no problem. I'm okay being a follower though if I assess the current leader to be worthy of following - no ego here. I'm trying to be less of a bystander these days.

If a leader is "needed" & I feel I have the qualifications, always. But, say, someone strong who might strike up a "cause" I believed in, I'd be a "joiner" not a follower. In other words, I'd reinforce. Bystander? I sort of doubt it. That's the difficult one to answer. If someone was doing something foolish (but not harmful) I'd just remove myself. But if someone was trying to take advantage of another, I'd be right in there.
