Well considering that it is 2.25am Sunday morning over here in New Zealand, my partner is in bed snoring his head off, I am definitely in no mood to get into the same bed as him at the moment ... that could possibly do with the amount of Scotch (cause he's a Highlander from Scotland) that he has consumed at the moment.
So the three things I would like my partner to do is :
Wake up smiling as he walks into the kitchen
Tells me he's sorry
Has a meaningful conversation
Shows me a bit of respect
And still loves me
Wow .... that was five.
Mind you, today he spent four hours outside washing the guttering on our two storey house, washing the outside windows and mowing the lawns ... and we have a hell of a big house. He even ended up cooking a roast chicken.
Mmmmmm maybe that's why he hit the Scotch.
But I know that he still loves me.

Why does it have to be three things. You should want honesty, loyalty, truthfulness. Honesty and truthfulness are close but important.
