all of you missed what i was asking. i asked what was the most important thing in a relationship whether youre married or just living together.

I believe that Marriage is the best relationship but let me tell a story of a friend of mine, I had the unique opportunity of meeting her after she had been with her "mate" for 8 years the first four they lived together, she had not wanted to get married she wanted to know what it was like to live with him first. the last four they had been married. She told me that the first four had been a waste of her time
marriage had changed everything and the relationship was ten times better and very different. she had thought that nothing would change but in fact it was very much different to have a "settled feeling" no insecurity that the other could just leave if an argument got to heated.
I dont know if this is what you wanted but I hope this couples relationship could be of help.

1. Understanding
2. Sharing.
3. Caring .
4. Adjusting.
5. Consoling.
6.Truthful.
7.Trustable.

If you are not ready for marriage, don't get married. Marriage is a strong lasting commitment to each other! It isn't as easy walking out of a marriage as it is when you are just living together.

Marriage destroys Love!
Just live together with a commitment in your Heart, not a piece of paper!
believe me, Marriage SUCKS!
and if it Doesn't work out with the one your with, go find another one!

1. trust
2. loyalty
3. honesty
4. sharing
5. understanding
but if it is between married and living together, i would say married.
