what does it mean? i read it on wikipedia and didnt understand a thing any simple explanations?

It is a misperception that says. when we are born we have no background programing. This is not true.

Everyone is born with a fully functioning set of logic based morals. From this we build our reality.

Problem is society does not like these logic based morals so it tries its best to over write them with something that society finds more acceptable.

The idea of tabula rasa is society's attempt to pretend that it is not doing anything at all when it does this overwriting

It means "blank slate".
The implication, in educational circles, is that children are not born with any preconcived notions, and that we teach them everything.
It's the Nurture side of the Nature vs. Nurture debate.
It's a rejection of the ideas of instinct in humans or that people can be born "bad" or "good".

the mind in its hypothetical primary blank or empty state before receiving outside impressions. something like when we are born, we start with a clean slate, no knowledge of anything and that we build our knowledge upon our experiences and perceptions of the outside world.
