Last night she took the children and has not returned back home in the morning. The divorce agreement does not allow for overnight trips without my knowledge of the kids location which is due to her previous behavior. She will not let the kids tell me where they are either. I have put a lot of legal pressure on her recently and we have a trial in a few weeks. The police said they can not do anyting in regards to finding their location. I am concerned that she might take off with them. The court appointed counselor believes she may have a personality disorder. I took photos of the car not at the house, What else can I do?

She is in violation of the court order, You call the police back out and get a police report # of you reporting this so when you go back to court you can take it with you. You need proof that you made a report. Also she can be arrested for violating the order, I don't know why the cops didn't tell you this. Make sure you have some proof of the time that she returns them, like vidio tape her when she brings them home that should display the time and day on the screen. Then when she tries to lie in court you will be able to tell the judge that you have proof for him to view.

Do you have temporary custody or any court documents that state that she is not to have the kids overnight? If so then the police have to react. Monday morning you need to file more paperwork as to what has happened. Do you have a lawyer? If so you should call him/her immediately. In the mean time do you have ideas about where she would take them? If so start tracking down those leads. You can not just sit and do nothing if you are not sure where your children are. Good luck.
