My BF is in Iraq, and he plans to give every cent of the "bounus" money to charity becuse he says he is doing it becuse he belives in freeing Iraq,and he loves his country.
You have no idea how warfaire workds wither. You dont "spray" a area becuse you dont know who in the crowd is really a terrorist, you win the hearts by not doing that.

Because Americans will lock them US soldiers up and call it murder . Its ashame they joined the military with the intent of killing the Afgan Taliban and the Elite Iraq army and now there kill or be killed policy is turning on them. They should have read that contract better or sober.

What did we do in Berlin after WWII? I know there was an insurgency there as well, but our response was slightly different, I am sure. War in a politically correct environment will be harder (if not impossible) to win.

Political correctness. We're at war, but not really. We're just supposed to be babysitting the people over there, while making sure that we don't kill one innocent person. But yes, if it was up to me 2 nuclear bombs could level the country and get this whole thing over with in an hour.

That's the way you battle an insurgency. Before you can kill any bad guys you have to make sure that they are, in fact, bad guys. Our Service People are highly trained and highly intelligent and they have terrific leadership. They'll do OK.
