If you can only choose one park and five of the members in your party are kids, it's a no brainer. Go to Magic Kingdom. Magic Kingdom has the most bang for your buck having more rides and attractions than any of the other three parks. Plus it's more geared to families and children.
A close second is EPCOT. It houses what I consider to be the best two rides in all of Disney World... Soarin' & Test Track.
If you have a week, try to visit all four parks. They're all fun.

If you are going to choose only one Disney World Park, I would say Magic Kingdom. (although ALL the parks are awesome).
All of the parks have many gentle rides and awesome shows. I think Epcot has the best light show-Illuminations, but MGM's Fantasmic is tough to beat! While there are not a lot of rides at Animal Kingdom (although Kilimanjaro Safari Ride and Kali River Rapids are 2 of my faves), the Festival of the Lion King show, and the Finding Nemo Show both are at this park and are fabulous.
It is awfully difficult to choose just one park to visit. I am sorry I am not much help, but you ask an almost impossible question!!
Have a great time!

Done all the parks (last summer) and personally, the one I liked best is not a Disney park.
Have you considered SEA WORLD? It pleases all age groups, but if Disney must be then I'll have to say Animal Kingdom.
MGM is OK but the crowds are horrendous and depending on the age of the kids (younger than 10) they might not like it that much.
Least favorite-Epcot, especially for the kids, it is too educational...

For a week I wuold say more than one park. But if your three adults I would rekommend spliting up in two or three groups
When I was there ten to 15 years ago Epcot was the best for the one that hates rides. For the younger ones Magic kingdom rules and for moiveer its disney mgm. But now there is animal kingdom as well. But why dont ask your children? Johan

i think you could go 2 universal studioes. its perfect. both for adults and kids. and theres sea world too. it has 2 roller coasters and the rest shows. which are very amusing, and if u are a roller coaster freak u should go 2 bush gardens. its an hr or 2 drive from orlando but its filled with roller coasters, and if u want only kiddy places theres disney world, animal kingdom , magic kingdom . if u want more information you could call them or go on their site.theres also epcot , kennedy space center and lots more. ALSO if besides parks you want 2 go somewhere theres TONS of mini-golfs, bowling alleys, ice skating rinks, resturants of many verites.
hope u have a great time!

Disney-MGM Studios is my least favorite park. I think you guys would have a blast at either Animal Kingdom, Magic Kingdom (those 2 first) followed by EPCOT as the 3rd choice. EPCOT is more geared for adults, but Animal Kingdom and MK are great for both!

Magic Kingdo has a bit of everything but if you dont want roller coasters at all (there are some at Magic Kingdom) go to Animal Kingdom
Epcot also has a lot of fun things to see such as the countries stands

I personally liked Effcot and MGM studios!
They both have a lot of stuff to do besides roller coasters and both kid stuff and adult stuff.
I heard that the animal kingdom is awesome too. I haven't been there yet.

Going for a whole week you should be able to enjoy them all. And even better, with 3 adults you should be able to split up by interests and see what you want. Have a great time.
