I found a dried/pressed 4 leaf clover in a prayer book, from the turn of the century. I left it in the book, in between the pages.
I found money in some really nice leather bound Franklin Mint editions I bought used.
Thats about it.

Lots of things when I used to work in a library. We kept them in a box and displayed them once in a while. Mostly pictures and religious themed bookmarks. Some receipts. The only interesting things were money, and once we found a whole, still in the wrapper, cherry Hostess fruit pie.

articles on science, a candy wrapper with numbers written on it-not phone numbers, just numbers. a german lesson book had the student's journal for the class glued on the back cover. in one-and i wish i had bought it-there was a tree drawn on the inside cover with things hidden in the lines.
